Today i continued working on my website, it took a lot of the lesson to get my links to Facebook and twitter working. I have also finally put my website online making it public for viewing, although it's still very rough and theres a lot of things that need to be changed and improved upon. I will continue working on this alongside my evaluations for the next few weeks through my free time. After doing this i am hoping to focus the majority of my efforts onto the evaluation.

ReplyDeleteI think you may need to resize the banner running across the top of the website as part of the name is cut off and there is not scroll option ( not that you should really have to use scroll on width)
I think the home page needs to be smaller as there is a lot of scrolling - change the size of the picture I think. I also think that there does need to be more on that front page as it is the first think a 'fan' (or marker) will see. Add in video, audio and the other 'best bits' from the whole website.
I like what you have done so far to the Gallery page but I would also like to see images directly from the music video to create a greater sense of synergy.
As you start to add more text pay attention to the colour and formating you use as the default formatting is hard to read against the images.
See if you can include a bit more interactivity on each page (but especially the home page) - things for people to click one, scroll over, hyperlinks, audio etc
Make sure that you have a similar design on your digipack
