Today I was researching and defining some factors in my music video. As my video is a Narrative following the life of two characters. I felt it would be a good idea to find a range of locations to film short scenes making it possible to build up a picture of the characters and their personalities. To achieve this i went out location scouting over the weekend for filming and placing the characters for my music video. I've also decided on using possible locations an therefore cast out the idea of any abstract places or far away locations.
However my video will contain stop-motion to give movement to a drawing helping tell the story.
I believe that by doing this it will help my target audience connect easier to the scenario an therefore Add to the initial impact of the song with a positive association with the use of bright colors and bright lighting.
Some of the locations i have scouted and will be using are a church this has a long walk way and a heavy door which i felt could represent his anxiety in the situation as my male character is about to crash the wedding.
the second location i scouted for my film was in recording a happy scene showing my characters deeply in love watching a sunset 'I know it's overdone' however by using this image i'm trying to give the feel of your typical romantic film.
i have already tested this location for it's view of the sun which sets just on top of the trees seen on the left at this time of year.
